Clarias batrachus: Ahmad et al., 2014: 20 (Sungkai Wildlife Reserve); Shafiq et al., 2014: 826 (Sg. Ara).

Remarks. Clarias aff. batrachus remains imprecise as the literature has so far propose that there may be four valid species of Indian, Indochinese, Javan or Sundaland origins. Currently, the authorities have classified specimens

from Borneo and the Malay Peninsula to be C. aff. batrachus "Sundaland" until the taxon is further investigated ( Ng & Kottelat, 2008; Lee & Sulaiman, 2015).
