Liriomyza View in CoL sp. B
Agromyza pusilla Meigen , of Becker (1920), in part.
MNHN specimen. Ecuador: Cuenca, Dr. G. Rivet 1905 (1 ♀).
Comments. This female specimen does not match any described Neotropical Liriomyza species and is definitely distinct from Liriomyza sp. A described above. Because no males are available the species is not described here, but the diagnostic characters include: orbit almost completely yellow with upper orbit pale brown near eye margin; vte on pale brown, vti on yellow ground; hind margin of eye black on upper half; palpus yellow; antenna with scape yellow, pedicel mostly brown, first flagellomere yellowish basally and brown apically; mesonotum dark to margin of scutellum with hind corners slightly paler brown; anepisternum and katepisternum mostly dark except for narrow upper margin; 3+1 dc; acr in 4 irregular rows; fore coxa mostly brown but narrowly yellow apically; femora mostly brown with some yellow striations; wing length 2.1 mm.
