Original data: “ Sierra Leone ” ( Fallou 1891: 9–10).
Type: Syntype 1 ♀: “ TYPE ” // “ Rhobomp Sierra Leone ” // “ MUSEUM PARIS COLL. G. FALLOU 1895” ( Fig. 51 View FIGURE 51 ) .
Type locality: Sierra Leone .
Current status: Junior synonym of Lestomerus ochropus (Stål, 1855) ( Bergroth 1892: 263) .
Remark: The original description ( Fallou 1891: 10) didn’t designate the holotype and didn’t mention the number of specimens studied, therefore the single available specimen should be regarded as a syntype ( ICZN 1999, Recommendation 73F). Villiers provided the specimen with a type label, added a printed collection label, and transferred the specimens from Fallou’s collection to the general collection.
