Genus Salagoulestes gen. n.
Included taxa. Only the type species Salagoulestes wesleyi sp. n.
Diagnosis. Wing characters only. CuA zigzagged and short, ending on posterior wing margin at level of base of IR2; one row of cells and straight short crossveins in area between CuA and posterior wing margin; long pterostigma; four postnodal and postsubnodal crossveins; RP 2 apparently emerging from IR2; no intercalary longitudinal veins between main veins.
Etymology. Named after The Salagou Formation and the genus name Lestes . Gender masculine.
