Type species: Necyla exigua Navás, 1913 by monotypy.
Diagnosis: Prothorax long, slender, always bears setae or sometimes granulated; hind wing with A1 forked, CuP and A1 fused for a considerable distance distal to the fork; pterostigma simple or unmodified.
