Nearctic: 1) USA ( Cooley & Kohls 1944, Kolonin 2009).
Amblyomma tuberculatum was treated as a Nearctic and Neotropical species in Camicas et al. (1998), but Guglielmone et al. (2003) stated that there are no bona fide natural populations of this tick in the Neotropical Region, a situation that remains unchanged according to Guglielmone et al. (2021).
