This endemic species has been cited only from Veracruz. The following specimen represents a new state record for Nuevo León: “ MEXICO: Nuevo León, Monterrey, Monterrey, V-1966, A. García Aldrete col.” (1♀, IEXA). This record is the northernmost known locality for this species, extending its known distribution 890 km northwest, from San Andrés Tuxtla in Veracruz .
