( Figs. 2 View FIGURE 2 E, J, O, 13A–G)
Scaphoideus bilineus Li, 2011 View in CoL [In Li et al., 2011: 250].
Body length (including tegmen):Male 5.2–5.4 mm.
Body light brown. Anterior margin of crown with dark brown edge line, a brown orange band parallel anterior margin, bold at the middle of band. Face pale brown, frontoclypeus apex have four brown horizontal stripes, color of horizontal grain to base become gradually shallow. Pronotum light brownish, with a white transverse middle band. Male genitalia. Male pygofer in lateral aspect longer than broad, slightly narrowed posteriorly, dorsal margin straight and ventral margin convexly rounded, with two subapical tufts of long macrosetae in addition to scattered macrosetae on apical half. Subgenital plate elongate, broad basally with lateral margin strongly incurved at basal 1/ 3, tapered over distal 2/3 to round apex, four macrosetae ventrolaterally near base. Connective Y-shaped, stem developed longer than arms, connective processes parallel and pointed apically, close together at apex. Aedeagus with well developed dorsal apodeme, shaft cylindrical and curved dorsally, abrupt tapered apically in caudal view, gonopore caudally.
Material examined. 3 ♂ Ƌ, Guangxi, Napo, Defu, 1440 m, 5 iv.1998. Huang Fusheng (IOZ).
Distribution. China (Guangxi).
Remarks. This species was described by Li (in Li et al. 2011) from Guangxi based on one male specimen deposited in the Institute of Entomology , Guizhou University. The illustrations given by Li are not very accurate. Dr. Jichun Xiang (personal communication) confirmed that the male genitalia illustrated here agree with the male genitalia of the holotype. S. bilineus externally resembles S. hamateadeagus Li closely but can be recognized by the aedeagus not curved at the apex.
