Biology: Oviposit in gall.
Hosts: Diptera ; Cecidomyiidae : Agromyza flaviceps Fallen, 1823 (Agromyzidae) ; Iteomyia capreae (Winnertz, 1853) . Coleoptera , Curculionidae : Cryptorhynchus lapathi (Linnaeus, 1758) ; Hylobius (Callirus) transversovittatus (Goeze, 1777) [ Lythrum salicaria ]. Hymenpotera, Tenthredinidae : Fenusa pusilla Leach, 1817 [ Betula sp. ].
Distribution in Turkey: Zonguldak ( Beyarslan et al. 2005); Amasya, Samsun, Tokat ( Beyarslan et al. 2008a); Afyon, Amasya, Artvin, Bartin, Bayburt, Cankiri, Elazig, Eskisehir, Gumushane, Izmir, Kastamonu, Kirsehir, Malatya, Mardin, Samsun, Sivas, Tekirdag, Tokat, Trabzon ( Beyarslan & Cetin Erdogan, 2012).
Distribution: Palaearctic.
