Material examined. 1 ♀, labeled ‘ China: E. Xizang, Muotuo Hsien (ffiRθ), 96K, 29°35′0.21″N, 95°28′4.76″E, ca. 1410 m, base of a standing rotten tree, 22.vii.2014, Wen-Xuan BI leg.’.
Description. Body ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 B) large sized, BL 3.03 mm; HL 0.46 mm; HW 0.68 mm; AnL 1.85 mm, relative lengths of antennomeres: 0.85: 0.55: 0.9: 1.1: 1.25: 1.2: 1.2: 1.15: 1.15: 1.3: 0.5; PL 0.94 mm; PWb 0.52 mm; PWm 0.74 mm; EL 1.63 mm; EW 1.17 mm; EI 1.40.
Spermatheca ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 E–G) large, SpD 0.21 mm; in lateral view subquadrate, with prominent conical extension located on broadly emarginate basal margin.
Comments. The measurements of body parts and form of the spermatheca ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 E–G) of this female are similar to those of S. (s. str.) saketianus Jałoszyński from Myanmar and northern Thailand and S. (s. str.) himalayanus Franz from southwestern Bhutan and northeastern India. The identification of this specimen cannot be confirmed at present, as it requires discovery of associated males.
