B.L. Fisher et al., 13.xi.2006; 1 M , FMNH-INS 3119889 , Madagascar, Midongy-Befotaka , 1055 m, VS1536 .
Remarks. So far, the most widespread species of the genus. Genetic barcoding of this population was successful. Unfortunately, it is the only sequence available for members of the Spirobolellidae from Madagascar.
