Distribution. P i: AG AU BH CH CR CY CZ DE EG FI FR GB GE GR IT MO NL NP RU SP SV SY UK A: AS. Cosmopolitan (Borowski 2007) but Hagstrum & Subramanyam (2009) mention the species only inform the Palearctic and Australian Regions.

Alien status. Alien to Cyprus, originally an Australian species (Denux & Zagatti 2010).
