Cyrnodes Ulmer, 1910: 45 View in CoL .

Type species: Cyrnodes scotti Ulmer , original designation.

Diagnosis: Maxillary palps each have the 1st and 2nd segments subequal in size, and each is much shorter than the 3rd segment; the 3rd segment originates subapically on the lateral face on the 2nd segment; the forewings each have a closed discoidal cell and a closed median cell and apical forks 2, 4, and 5 are present. The hind wings each have an open discoidal cell and apical forks 2 and 5. The gonopods are simple and slender. The genus was reported to be closely related to Pahamunaya by Kjaeransen & Netland (1997). The single species of the genus, Cyrnodes scotti Ulmer is separated from species in Pahamunaya and Cernotina genera by the presence of a closed median cell on each forewing. The genus is restricted to the Seychelle Islands.
