Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. (S.) zaduo sp. nov. in the shape of female terminalia ( Fig. 65 View FIGURE 65 ), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the yellowish katepisternum brown on anterior corner ( Fig. 14H View FIGURE 14 ); the 8th sternite nearly squared, with several setae and much pubescence on distolateral 1/3 ( Fig. 65E View FIGURE 65 ).

Halter mostly white ( Fig. 14H View FIGURE 14 ). Fore femur with a row of 3 long, strong setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. All abdominal tergites dark brown to black ( Fig. 14G, H View FIGURE 14 ); sternites brown, about 2 times as wide as long. Female terminalia ( Fig. 65D–F View FIGURE 65 ): Epiproct with several setae, lacking pubescence ( Fig. 65D View FIGURE 65 ). Cercus and hypoproct with numerous setae and much pubescence ( Fig. 65D, F View FIGURE 65 ). Eighth sternite glabrous on basal 2/3 ( Fig. 65E View FIGURE 65 ).
