Remarks.—These specimens are syntypes of AEstrelata defilippiana Giglioli & Salvadori, 1869 . Giglioli (1876) stated that, after lunch on 31 August 1867, at c. 26°S, 89°W, a boat was prepared for collecting pelagic birds, including these two specimens.
