FEMALE (3 specimens measured). Dorsal shield 338 (335–342) long and 168 (162–172) wide; j1 20, j3 17 (16–18), j4 11 (10–11), j5 11 (10–11), j6 13 (12–13), J2 14 (14–15), J5 10 (9–11), z2 13 (12–13), z3 14 (13– 15), z4 15 (14–16), z5 11 (11–12), Z4 21 (20–23), Z5 37 (35–40), s4 15 (15–16), S2 20 (19–21), S4 21 (20– 22), S5 21 (20–23), r3 17 (15–18), R1 16 (15–17); distances between st1-st3 69 (68–70), st2-st2 60 and st5-st5 56 (54–57); ventri-anal shield 119 (114–124) long, 86 (84–87) wide at level of ZV2 and 81 (78–83) wide at level of anus; JV5 33 (30–37); movable cheliceral digit 26; fixed cheliceral digit 28, teeth not visible; calyx of spermatheca 25 long; St IV 26 (24–28).
Specimens examined: Sud Mennucci (20°39' S, 50°54' W), October 2007, on M. minutiflora (3 Ƥ).
Remarks: This species was previously known from Australia, Philippines and Hawaii. Measurements of the specimens collected are close to those of the original description. This species was originally described from a grass. This is the first record of this species in the American continent.
