Ophtalmibidion Martins, 1969 View in CoL
Ophtalmibidion View in CoL is a small genus of Neoibidionini (Neoibidionina) , with four known species distributed only in South America ( Monné, 2018a). Martins & Galileo (2007) revised the genus and provided a key to species.
According to Martins (2007), Ophtalmibidion View in CoL is characterized by the strong posterior constriction of the head, anterior to prothorax, eyes lobes divided, flagellomeres not widened in the antennae of males, and apices of metafemora disarmed.
