Gelechia allomima Meyrick, 1938 View in CoL — Institut des Parcs Nationaux du Congo belge, 14, 12–13.

Type material. Holotype ♂, [ DR Congo] Musée du Congo, Tshambi (Kabasha) (975), 28.ix—1.xii.1933, G.F. de Witte, Park Nat. Albert | Holotype, G. allomima M. | Type | Congo Belge: P.N.A, Tshambi, 975 m, 28.x/ 7.xi.1933, G.F.de Witte: 88 | R. 4079 LL | E. Meyrick det., 1937: Gelechia allomima Meyr. | Gelechia allomima Meyr. | gen. slide 213/24, O. Bidzilya ( RMCA).

Remarks. Gelechia allomima was described based on the male holotype. External characters and genitalia of this species perfectly match the diagnosis of the genus Leuronoma Meyrick, 1918 sensu Janse (1958) , and herewith we transfer this species to the latter genus. Since the type species of Leuronoma ( Leuronoma chlorotoma Meyrick, 1918 ) lacks palpi and abdomen, Janse diagnosed the genus based on Leuronoma eodryas (Meyrick, 1918) . We accept this concept ( Agassiz & Bidzilya 2016) because the diagnostic characters of L. chlorotoma remain unknown. Within the genus the species can easily be recognized by the light brown forewing with contrasting black pattern below the costal margin. The male genitalia are very similar to those of L. eodryas but differ in the apically rounded rather than pointed dorsal part of cucullus.

Male genitalia (described here for the first time, Figs 19c–d View FIGURES 17–20. 17 ). Uncus divided medially into two densely setose narrow horn-shaped lobes; gnathos nearly of the same length as tegumen, of uniform width, apically pointed; tegumen trapezoidal in basal part, short and broad, distal part subrectangular, posterior margin unequal, anteromedial emargination extensive, triangular, extending almost to 1/2 length of tegumen; cucullus divided after 1/3: its dorsal part densely pectinated, weakly bent, apex rounded, extending to 3/4 of ventral part; ventral part narrow at the base, then strongly expanded, densely covered with long hairs, apex rounded, extending to tip of uncus; ventral margin with strong beak-shaped process before middle immediately beyond sacculus; the latter short, subtriangular, setose; juxta lobes short, broadly rounded; vinculum three times wider than long, posterior margin with broad irregular medial emargination, anterior margin slightly emarginated; saccus absent; phallus swollen basally, distal portion narrow, tapering apically.

Distribution. DR Congo: North Kivu Province.
