Anisophya punctinervis comb. nov. ( Stål, 1861)
Odontura punctinervis Stål, 1861: 318 .
This species from Argentina has been included in Isophya by Brunner von Wattenwyl (1878). Stål described a female, so the photos in OSF from a female specimen in the Naturhistoriska Riksmuseet in Stockholm most probably depict the holotype (although labeled as allotype). The photos of the other female in OSF possibly show a specimen in the collection in Vienna, which is not mentioned by Brunner von Wattenwyl (only an uncertainly identified male in the collection in Geneva). The species has a considerably shorter ovipositor than A. brasilienis , but neither the specimens (the two females in OSF are certainly conspecific) nor Brunner von Wattenwyl’s redescription show other major differences to Karabag’s diagnosis of Anisophya , except for the narrower fastigium in A. punctinervis .
