Features: Length 22–34 μm, width 20–24 μm, striae around central area 24–28 in 10 μm.
Description: Valves small, ovate with broadly rounded apices. Two parallel and striated ridges run along the apical axis, bordering narrow central area.
Distribution: A marine species seems to prefer warm water. Previously reported from the Gulf (Al-Yamani & Saburova 2011). Frequent in Basra corals.
