Features: Length 60–68 μm, width 21–22 μm, striae 20–22 in 10 μm.
Description: Valves rhombic-lanceolate with rounded, slightly produced apices. Raphe straight, terminal endings terminate below apices. Axial area narrow, central area small, elliptical. Transapical striae radiate, finely punctate.
Remarks: A slightly larger specimen with coarser striae were observed.
Ecology and Distribution: A rare marine tropical species. Not recorded previously from the Gulf. Rare in Basra corals.
