- Elytra bicoloured with anterior half black and posterior half pale brown. ( Fig. 34 View FIGURE 33–37 ). Sides of pronotum not parallel, widest before middle ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 1–12 ). Space between eyes very narrow, HW / FW> 4. Bituberculate foveae lacking in apical third of elytra......................................................................................... 2. Elytra pale brown, pronotum and head dark brown. Larger species with body length greater than 10 mm. Inner interstriae completely smooth, without any tubercles. Bituberculate foveae lacking in apical fourth of elytra. Space between foveae larger than their diameter.................................................................. B. foveolatus Pic, 1949
- Whole body black. Smaller species with body length less than 8 mm. All interstriae slightly but distinctly ungulated and with tubercles.
