Material — Iran, North Khorassan Province: IR14-2022, saline pool on Feshanjerd-Gurpan-Esfarayen Road , 36.935755°N 57.207119°E, 2.viii.2022 leg. Pešić 7 ex. (environmental characteristics of the sampling site: temperature 25.6 C°; electrical conductivity 1282 µS/cm, pH 8.32; dissolved oxygen 0.11 mg /L); IR20-2022, the outflow of the qanat in Garmeh city, 36.985811°N 56.286569°E, 3.viii.2022 leg. Pešić 46 ex. (environmental characteristics of the sampling site: water temperature 24.3 C°; electrical conductivity 1923 µS/cm; pH 7.63; dissolved oxygen 9.13 mg /L) GoogleMaps .
Remarks — In Iran this species was known only from a saline stream in Hormozgan Province ( Glöer & Pešić 2012). In Northeastern Iran E. grimmi was collected in saline waters (pool and outflow of qanat, the latter is a system for transporting water from an aquifer or water well to the surface, through an underground aqueduct; Fig. 2C View Figure 2 ).
