Type locality. Sri Lanka: Kandy .

Distribution. Sri Lanka: Kandy ( Figure 1 ).

Material examined. Sri Lanka: Kandy (G. E. Bryant). VIII.1908 (1 ♂ holotype, BMNH); Central , Kandy district, Victoria Rendenigala Ramtembe Sanctuary, 07°12‘ N 80°57‘ E (135 m) (M. & J. Wasbauer) 23.VIII.1999 (1 ♂, UCDC) .
