Female (First description). Large species. Frons with some scattered impressed dots ( Fig. 5A View FIGURE 5 ). Fastigium verticis wider than scape, the lateral margins slightly raised. Ocelli distinct; median ocellus oval ( Fig. 5A View FIGURE 5 ).
Anterior margin of pronotum slightly projecting in the middle, posterior margin almost straight ( Fig. 5B–C View FIGURE 5 ); lateral lobes longer than high, anterior angle circular arched, posterior angle arched, ventral margin oblique ( Fig. 5D–E View FIGURE 5 ).
Wings surpassing the apex of abdomen, reaching the one thirds area of hind tibiae ( Fig. 7E–F View FIGURE 7 ). Tegmen ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 ): Radius with radius sector branching in about basal third of tegmen; both additionally branching near tip. Media free from base although almost leaning on radius. Cubitus anterior at base with a single branch that forks into two branches, CuA1 and CuA2; cubitus posterior undivided, free throughout. With 4 anal veins, the last two with common base.
Fore coxae with 1 spine at anterior margin. Fore and middle femora unarmed; hind femora with 9 external and 18 internal spines on ventral margins. Fore and middle tibiae with 4 pairs of ventral spurs and 1 pair of apical spurs; the spurs of fore legs obviously longer than middle ones. Hind tibiae with 7 pairs of dorsal spines, ventral margins with 1 pair of subapical spurs, apices with 1 dorsal and 2 ventral spurs on both sides.
Second abdominal tergite with four small stridulatory pegs ( Fig. 5F View FIGURE 5 ). Seventh abdominal sternite longer than preceding sternites ( Fig. 5H–I View FIGURE 5 ). Subgenital plate triangular; middle area of basal margin with 2 small, black, strongly sclerotised, small grooves; posterior margins with small median concavity ( Fig. 5H–I View FIGURE 5 ). Ovipositor slightly curved upwards ( Fig. 7E–F View FIGURE 7 ), with slightly converging margins; apices subobtuse ( Fig. 5J View FIGURE 5 ).
Coloration. Body rufous ( Fig. 7E–F View FIGURE 7 ). Eyes brown; ocelli yellow. Pronotum reddish with two yellowish spots ( Fig. 5B–C View FIGURE 5 ). Tegmen transparent, cross vein blackish. Tarsal pulvilli brown.
Material examined. 1 female, Bubang, Mengla, Yunnan, August 3, 2019, coll. by Mingyin Guo ; GXNU .
Measurements (mm). body w/wings: 48.5; body w/o wings: 38.1; pronotum: 8.1; tegmen: 36.1; hind femur: 21.2; ovipositor: 26.2.
Distribution. Yunnan (Mengla).
