Transference to Orieosia Bucsek, 2012 View in CoL
Genitalia study at Lambula hypopolius Rothschild, 1916 proved that this species in fact belongs to Orieosia . The structure of the genitalia match perfectly with that of this genus. It will be described below in the systematic part.
The more or less similar patterned Utriculofera tetrastigmata Rothschild, 1916 definitely does not belong to Utriculofera Hampson, 1893 since the males in this genus have remarkable and conspicuous shaped wings and a short and broad abdomen with dorsal anal coremata, while in tetrastigmata there is only a distal anal tuft and the abdomen is long and slender. Study of the genitalia of tetrastigmata made clear that this species also belongs to Orieosia . Both species are therefore transferred to Orieosia : Orieosia hypopolius ( Rothschild, 1916) comb. nov. and O. tetrastigmata ( Rothschild, 1916) comb. nov.
