Host and locality in Australia: Sydney, on turkeys ( Sinkovic & Robinson 1955).

Current name of host: Wild Turkey, Meleagris gallopavo Linnaeus, 1758

( Galliformes : Phasianidae ).

Notes: The names Epidermoptes and Epidermoptes bilobatus are often attributed to Rivolta (1876), but that paper does not mention either of those names.

Unidentified specimens in this genus: Epidermoptes sp.

Host and locality in Australia: Domestic hen, Victoria; turkey, Sydney ( Domrow 1992).

Current name of host: Red Junglefowl (domestic hen), Gallus gallus ( Linnaeus, 1758) ; Wild Turkey, Meleagris gallopavo Linnaeus, 1758 ( Galliformes : Phasianidae ).
