Distribution. Sabah ( Moore, 1914; Beaman et al., 2001); Sabah, Sarawak ( Burtt, 1970).
Notes. Some additional morphological notes, including diagnostic characters that distinguish this species from Cyrtandra elatostemoides and C. quinquenotata , are given in Burtt (1970), and additional specimens are cited that increase the distribution to include Sarawak.
