( Figure 9 View Figure 9 )
Diagnosis
This species is similar to S. cylindrica sp. nov. in the some characters of male terminalia, can be differentiated from it by having the surstylus with numerous serrated, minute processes on outer surface ( Figure 9B View Figure 9 ), the dorsal projection of gonopods slightly roundly expanded ( Figure 9E, F View Figure 9 ).
Description
Frons black, lacking minute setulae. Fronto-orbital plate black above, brownish yellow below. Pedicel yellow; first flagellomere dark brown. Face black on upper two-thirds, yellow on lower margin. Clypeus yellow. Scutum black medially, brownish yellow laterally. Basisternum yellow. Scutellum black basally, yellow distally. Wing brown anteriorly, paler posteriorly, dark brown on all crossveins. Fore femur with one row of three or four suberect setae on ventral surface. Abdominal tergites black. Sternites dark brown, broadened, wider than length. Male terminalia: cercus lacking pubescence ( Figure 9A View Figure 9 ). Surstylus with one prensiseta on apical margin ( Figure 9A View Figure 9 ). Tenth sternite slightly expanded medially ( Figure 9C View Figure 9 ). Hypandrium slightly roundly expanded anteromedially ( Figure 9D View Figure 9 ). Aedeagus broadened distally, with pubescence anteromedially and sporadic, minute processes ( Figure 9D, E View Figure 9 ).
