Material examined. 4 males and 3 females (BMOC-16-0825-028) from Dumetella carolinensis (Linnaeus) ( Passeriformes : Mimidae ), USA, Georgia, Statesboro, Georgia Southern University campus, 32°25'15"N, 81°47'22"W, 8 October 2015, coll. C.R. Chandler.
This species is known only from the gray catbird D. carolinensis ; it was previously recorded on this host in various locations in the USA: Georgia, Maine, Michigan, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania (Mironov & OConnor 2014).
