Tetranychus desertorum Banks

Tetranychus desertorum Banks, 1900: 229 .

Specimens examined: four females, two males, together with Mononychellus planki , from the same plant and location.

The females of this mite are carmine. The mites develop on the lower surface of older leaves and were observed in small numbers.
