Description of Ruegeria lacuscaerulensis View in CoL EgM3207
Cells are Gramstainingnegative, nonflagellated, pigmented and rodshaped. Colonies are circular and beige colored after 3 days of incubation on MA at 25°C. In API 20NE, positive for nitrate reduction, esculin hydrolysis, β galactosidase and negative for arginine dihydrolase, urease, indole production glucose fermentation, gelatinase and assimilation of Dglucose, Larabinose, Dmannose, Dmannitol, N acetylglucosamine, potassium gluconate, malic acid, Dmaltose, capric acid, adipic acid, trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid. Strain EgM3207 (= NIBRBA0000114938) has been isolated from gut of Tulvia mutica , Korea.
