Type locality and specimens. Three Sisters Bommie , Yonge Reef, Lizard Island, 14°36.104’S 145°37.126’E. Holotype, male, 5.6 mm, AM P 79820; paratype, female, 6.0 mm, AM P 79821. GoogleMaps
Material examined. Unmeasured males and females, AM P 79820, AM P 79821, AM P 70697, AM P 71207, AM P 71213, AM P 71353, AM P 71458, AM P 79822. Diagnosis based on description by White & Thomas (2009).
Diagnosis. Eyes elongate. Gnathopod 1 coxa serrate; carpus proximal margin serrate. Gnathopod 2 basis posterior margin slightly expanded, anterior margin with 15–16 setae, posterior margin with five to six setae; carpus distally expanded, serrate; propodus with one mediofacial setal row, slightly displaced to midline, as long as propodus length, palm convex with six minor projections. Pereopod 4 coxa serrate.
Female (sexually dimorphic characters). Gnathopod 1 basis anterior margin with 13–15 setae; posterior margin with 29–30 alternating short and long setae; ischium with eight posterior setae. Gnathopod 2 basis anterior margin with 28–30 short and long setae; posterior margin with 15 setae; ischium posterior margin with eight setae; distal margin with 10 setae; propodus with 17 submarginal setae in two indistinct rows.
Habitat. Coral reefs; 2–12 m.
Host. Ascidian.
Distribution. Pacific Ocean: Lizard Island, Australia ( White & Thomas 2009).
