Type locality and specimens. North Point , Lizard Island, ~ 14°38'S 145°27'E. Holotype, male, 2.8 mm, AM P 79812; paratype, female, 2.5 mm, AM P 79813. GoogleMaps

Material examined. Unmeasured males and females, AM P 79812, AM P 79813, AM P 79814. Diagnosis based on description by White & Thomas (2009).

Diagnosis. Maxilla 1 palp one articulate. Maxilliped outer plate serrate. Gnathopod 1 carpus distal margin setose; propodus palm dentate; dactylus short. Gnathopod 2 basis linear, posterior margin with one to five setae; carpus distally truncate, serrate; propodus with two mediofacial setal rows, palm convex with three minor projections. Pereopods 5–7 bases narrow, posterior margins setose. Uropods 2–3 rami lined with short marginal setae.

Female (sexually dimorphic characters). Gnathopod 1 carpus without distal setae. Gnathopod 2 carpus anterior margin smooth; dactylus with proximal spine, strongly recurved.

Habitat. Among coral rubble; 5–13 m.

Host. Unknown.

Distribution. Pacific Ocean: Lizard Island, Australia ( White & Thomas 2009).
