Type locality and specimens. North Point , Lizard Island, ~ 14°38'S 145°27'E. Holotype, male, 2.6 mm, AM P 79801; paratypes, male, 2.3 mm, AM P 79802, female, 1.80 mm, AM P 79803. GoogleMaps
Material examined. Unmeausred males and females, AM P 79801, AM P 79802, AM P 79803, AM P 79804. Diagnosis based on description by White & Thomas (2009).
Diagnosis. Anterior head margin truncate; anterodistal margin quadrate with cusp. Ventral cephalic keel oblique. Gnathopod 1 coxa setose; basis expanded distally; carpus and propodus distally inflated, bulbous; carpus distal margin setose; propodus palm smooth; dactylus very short. Gnathopod 2 basis anterodistal margin expanded with two small tubercles; carpus distally truncate, spoon-like, smooth; propodus with two mediofacial setal rows, palm convex with three major projections. Uropod 2 rami each with a single robust seta.
Female (sexually dimorphic characters). Gnathopod 1 carpus distal margin with three setae; basis anterior margin bare, posterior margin with two short setae. Gnathopod 2 propodus mediofacial setal row with fewer setae. Pereopods 5–6 coxa each with two proximal facial setae.
Habitat. Among coral rubble; 5– 13 m.
Host. Unknown.
Distribution. Pacific Ocean: Lizard Island, Australia ( White & Thomas 2009).
