General distribution. Europe: Austria, Belgium, Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece (incl. Ionian Is. and Crete), Hungary, mainland Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine ( Zapparoli 2002; Minelli et al. 2006).
Chorotype. European (EUR).
Records in Peloponnisos ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 ). Arkadia: Tripoli (1, 2, 3).
Ecological notes. 200–1200 m; only few records from open Paliurus spinachristi scrub, and Quercus sp. woods ( Verhoeff 1901; Zapparoli 1996).
