REMARK

An undescribed species of the genus Crimisus or perhaps Cotys Bolívar, 1887 has been observed. It differs from C. costaricensis by a sharp antegenicular tooth, a slight hump formed by the median carina of the pronotum in prozona, the first hind tarsal segment slightly longer than the third, and by the median carina reaching the anterior margin of the pronotum. Cotys is a genus that is very similar to Crimisus and both genera are in need of revision.
