REMARKS

No living specimens have been photographed in Central America since the description.

The label of the type states that it is a syntype, but Bolivar (1909) in his original description never states the size of his type series or whether he had one at all. Measurements are exact and represent only the female sex. Additionally, only one syntype is known, even if there were multiple. According to Article 73.1.2. of ICZN (1999), the type can be considered the holotype.
