( Figs 29A–C View FIGURE 29 )

Holotype. (♀) Indonesia: W Bali, nr. Negara, rainforest above Batuagung , c 575 m, 4–13.xii.1991, Mal. trap 1, C.v. Achterberg, RMNH´91 (Leiden).

Description. ♀. Body length 10.2 mm.

Head. Flagellum with 45 flagellomeres, distinctly lanceolate; 1 st flagellomere 2.0 × longer than wide, about 8 th flagellomere square, widest flagellomeres 2.3 × wider than long. Temple very short, strongly and roundly narrowed behind eye. OED 1.2 × and OOD 0.7 × ocellar diameter. Frons smooth and shining, with some punctures laterally. Face densely punctate. Clypeus with dense punctures medially and sparse punctures laterally; apical margin blunt, slightly bulging medially (fig. 29A). Malar space 0.7 × as long as width of mandibular base. Gena with sparse punctures. Genal carina reaching mandibular base.

Mesosoma . Notaulus distinct in frontal 0.5 of mesoscutum. Mesoscutum densely punctate, shining. Mesopleuron densely and finely punctate, dorsal and posterior margins with some coarse rugae. Metapleuron coarsely rugose-punctate; juxtacoxal carina present. Scutellum slightly elevated, slightly longer than wide, with sparse punctures and complete lateral carina. Propodeum (fig. 29B) completely carinated, without apophysis. Area superomedia large, slightly longer than wide, with coarse rugae; costula reaching at 4/10 of its length. Hind coxa with dense punctures, without scopa. Hind femur 4.3 × longer than wide. Claws simple. Areolet pentagonal, frontal distance between veins 2rs-m and 3rs-m 3.0 × their diameter; vein 2cu-m slightly distad its middle. Vein 1cu-a antefurcal by 2.0 × its width. Nervellus of hind wing distinctly reclivous, intercepted at apical 0.7.

Metasoma. Oxypygous; 2 nd to 4 th sternites with median folds. Postpetiole distinctly widened; median field not separated, almost smooth; lateral field punctate. Gastrocoelus slightly impressed, with some ridges. Thyridium small, slightly oblique, 0.3 × as wide as the interval between thyridia (fig. 29C). 2 nd tergite about as wide as long, with distinct lateral impressions. 2 nd and 3 rd tergites densely rugose-punctate, dull; 4 th tergite with fine punctures, shining; following tergites almost smooth. Ovipositor sheath slightly extending behind metasomal apex.

Colour. Black with extended ivory coloration. Scape and tegula reddish. Ivory are stripes on flagellomeres 9–17, palps, mandible except teeth, clypeus, face except brown central spot (fig. 29A), gena, complete orbits, collar, fronto-ventral stripes and upper margin of pronotum, two short paramedian stripes of mesoscutum, subtegular ridge, wide ventral band of mesopleuron, apical spot on metapleuron, prescutellar ridge, scutellum laterally and apically, postscutellum, spot in front of propodeal spiracle and posterolateral spot on propodeum (fig. 29B), posterolateral spot of postpetiole, apical bands of 2 nd and 3 rd tergites (narrowed medially), large posterolateral stripe of 4 th tergite and small posterolateral spot on 5 th tergite; apical band of 6 th tergites and entire 7 th tergite. Legs reddish; fore and mid coxae and trochanters and hind coxa ventrally and internally ivory; hind tibia and tarsus black. Wings hyaline; pterostigma blackish.

Remarks. This new species runs to Losgna bambusicola Heinrich in the key for Oriental Losgna species ( Heinrich 1965: 138–139), but differs by its stouter 1 st flagellomere, less strongly lanceolate flagellum, shorter malar space, slightly different coloration of metasoma and entirely blackish hind tibia.
