Material examined. ARMENIA occ.: Yerevan, 1.-27.vii.1974, 1 ♀, Z. Pádrová lgt., P. Kment det. ( PKPC).
Euro-Siberian species recorded from Italy, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Moldavia, Romania, Slovakia, Russia (Central and South European Territory, West and East Siberia), Ukraine; Armenia, Azerbaijan, Israel, Kazakhstan, Syria, and Turkey ( AKRAMOVSKAJA 1959, LIS 1999, PROTIĆ 2001). Previous records from Armenia (AKRAMOVSKAJA 1959) were neglected by LIS (1999). The biology of this species is poorly known; in central Europe it inhabits xerothermic biotopes on various substrates (sands, eruptive rocks, limestones). It lives on plants of the family Boraginaceae ( Echium vulgare L., Anchusa officinalis L.) ( STEHLÍK 1983, STEHLÍK & VAVŘÍNOVÁ 1991, KMENT et al. 2003). Confirmed occurrence in Armenia.
