Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 1‒6 ). Wingspan 11.0‒12.0 mm. Saridoscelis sphenias is characterized by having a broad sclerotized ring-shaped plate at the conjunction of the ductus bursae and the corpus bursae that bears a second sclerotized plate, and the signum being a large slender circle of fine spines in the female genitalia ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 12‒14 ).
