Distribution: Widespread in Southern Europe ( Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Montenegro, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey (European part)), North Africa ( Algeria, Canary Isles, Egypt, Libya, Madeira, Morocco, Tunisia) and Asia ( Afghanistan, Cyprus, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Sinai, Syria, Turkey (Asian part), Yemen). Extralimital records in tropical Africa.

Remarks: The specimens were collected in seminatural area on Rhamnus sp. First record in Apulia region (Southern Italy).
