The species was redescribed and figured by Kownacka & Kownacki (1975), and the male genitalia are here redrawn ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3. A C, D). The beak-like shape of inferior volsella is typical. The species was found in the Italian Alps at 12VIII1978 near the Avio Lake , and no more recorded thereafter.
