The species belongs to the subgenus Donzelotauropus View in CoL in Stylopauropus View in CoL because of the following character combination: antennal globulus with proportionally long stalk, posterior margin of sternal antennal branch shorter than anterior margin, pygidial sternum with setae b 1+ b 3. The long macrochaetae on the tergal side of the head point in the same direction.

Distribution. Known so far only from Austria.
