Diagnosis. Small spiders with body length of 6–10 mm and colour pattern B. The epigyne shown in Tikader (1970: fig. 34b) shows similarities of an epigyne of a premature female (e.g. shown in Fig. 117 View FIGURES 112 – 119 for D. lepida ). It is possible that a mature female was illustrated, but only dark parts were considered (cf. D. ornata comb. nov., Fig. 151 View FIGURES 147 – 152 ). Therefore, and since no details of the vulva are shown, no detailed diagnosis is provided here.
