Ceratapion (Angustapion) beckeri (Desbrochers des Loges, 1875)
Distribution in Iran. Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari, East Azarbaijan, Hamadan, Isfahan, Lorestan, Mazandaran, Razavi Khorasan ( Wanat 1995; Legalov et al. 2010), Northern Khorasan ( Wanat 1995; Hoseini & Dousti 2015), Iran (no exact locality cited) ( Hayat et al. 2002).
General distribution. Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, France, Georgia, Hungary, Iran, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Macedonia, Romania, south European Russia, Serbia, Tadzhikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.
Plant associations in Iran. Solanum tuberosum L. ( Solanaceae ) ( Hoseini & Dousti 2015). Collecting of this species on the above plant is surely occasional since all Ceratapion are associated with Asteraceae ( Wanat 1995) .
Comments. Legalov et al. (2010) recorded erroneously Ceratapion (Angustapion) beckeri from Semnan with reference to Wanat (1995).
