Description. See Cushman (1932, p. 32, pl. 8, fig. 2).
Distribution within study area. Only a single specimen of Pseudomassilina australis ( Cushman 1932) was collected from site 3 along Transect 2 across the outer reef flat of Heron Island.
Pseudomassilina macilenta ( Brady 1884) View in CoL ( Fig. 12 View FIGURE 12 :9–11)
Description. See Brady (1884, p. 167, pl. 7, figs 5, 6).
Distribution within study area. Pseudomassilina macilenta ( Brady 1884) was only found in Wistari, Heron and One Tree Lagoons with only one to four specimens collected per site. The greatest abundance was at sites 15 and 19 in Wistari Lagoon.
