Conicospirillinoides View in CoL sp. 1 ( Fig. 16 View FIGURE 16 :13, 14)
Remarks. This taxon has a low conical test with trochospiral coiling, a truncated apex, flattened base and compressed chambers. Each whorl partially overlaps the preceeding whorl and the innermost obscures the central umbilical area of the test. The whorls wrap on an angle giving a flat-topped conical profile with a thickened carinate periphery ( Fig. 16 View FIGURE 16 :13, 14). Although these features are congeneric with Conicospirillinoides , all the CG specimens are damaged, particularly at the apex and periphery, making precise identification difficult.
Distribution within study area. Specimens of Conicospirillinoides sp. 1 were collected in low numbers from One Tree Lagoons 1 and 2.
