Paraplexaura multiplanar Fernando, 2011: 69 , pl. 44, fig. 1–1e (Vedalai); Fernando et al. 2017: 149, pl. 69, fig. 1–1e (Vedalai).

Opinion: This species does occur in the region.

Justification:

Literature analysis: Both publications of Fernando (2011) and Fernando et al. (2017) describe the same material. Without a detailed description of the sclerites and the polyp armature it would not be easy to distinguish this species from any similar taxa.
