Echinomuricea splendens Thomson & Simpson, 1909 View in CoL
Echinomuricea splendens Thomson & Simpson, 1909: 207–208 View in CoL (unknown locality).
Opinion:
The site of collection of this species is unknown, but it was probably in the region.
Justification:
Literature analysis:As with Echinomuricea ochracea , this species was also described as being from the collection of Wood-Mason, and no location or illustrations were given. Kükenthal treated the species as an Echinomuricea but is not identifiable. Rao & Devi (2003) listed it as occurring in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands with no evidence.
